Below are pics from my Small Press Spotlight at the Cartoon Art Museum. The opening was held on October 21st and had a Halloween theme with prizes given for best male and female costume. Jenny (Velma) and Eric (Fat Ballerina) won. This was my first solo event, as such, and I had a blast! Many thanks to Andrew Farago and the Cartoon Art Museum for making it possible. Many of the attendees are from the Bay Area's comix scene. You can check out there individual sites on my links page. Enough rambling! Enjoy the pictures and visit CAM next time you're in town!
Check it out! Andrew Farago, from the Cartoon Art Museum, did a
bang-up job framing my babies. These were taken a couple of weeks before the event.
Working on the mural. I did the sketches minutes before on the
train ride over. Nothing like planning ahead, eh?
Dig those chops, baby!
Completed! Vanessa did a lot of the texturing and mixing.
Really brought the piece together.

Stop me if you've heard this one before. A fat ballerina, a waver and a black skinhead walk into a bar..
No, Justin doesn't usually drink his wine with a straw, only at galleries when he wants to be all sophisticated and shit.
